Roman had the best day

Last year, Matt reached out and asked if Roman would like a signed jersey (of course, he said yes!). Ever since then, Roman has loved watching Matt punt in every game. Not long after, we learned that Layla-Matt’s girlfriend-had been following Roman’s journey since his very first video walking with Maggie! She told us that if we ever wanted to go to a game, to let her know, and we could sit with her in the family section.

We’ve been wanting to take all the kids to a game, so we decided to finally make it happen. We were just excited to meet Layla and Matt and enjoy a great Chiefs game, but they went above and beyond to make it an experience we’ll never forget.

Roman and Adam got to go down on the field before the game, we had amazing seats, and after the game, our whole family got to go back down on the field with the players’ families! We met so many Chiefs players and got to know Matt a little more-he truly is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and Layla is the absolute sweetest. Roman loved sitting next to her and talking her ear off the whole game!
