The publication wrote that the pair had released a ‘joint statement’ about the supposed concert. They wrote that the two women said: “We believe in the power of music to bring people together and drive change. We are thrilled to bring our fans together for a night of incredible music and unity in support of Kamala Harris.”
But Snope has shut it down, saying that the claim is false. They report that no reports can be found of the alleged fundraising concert from reputable sources and no announcements have been made by Swifts or Carter’s camps.
