Trump Claims U.S. Has Regained Global Respect
Donald Trump has said the United States has regained global respect under his leadership, contrasting it with what he described as a period when the country was not taken seriously on the world stage.
Speaking during a recent appearance, Trump argued that America’s image abroad has significantly improved, insisting that other nations now view the country with renewed respect and strength.
“Our country now is respected all over the world… a year and a half ago we were a laughingstock,” he said.
Trump went further to claim that even the leadership of Saudi Arabia shared that perception, noting that the King Salman had expressed surprise at how far the United States’ reputation had declined before his leadership.
