Hochul Moves to Block ICE Cooperation, Ignites Immigration Firestorm in New York

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has officially escalated her war against federal immigration enforcement, introducing the “Local Cops, Local Crimes Act” to legally ban local police and sheriffs from cooperating with ICE. 🚨🗽

Hochul claims that federal agents are not just enforcing the law, but are actively “terrorizing” communities, and she went viral for this explosive accusation:

“As a mom, I can’t pretend this is normal. ICE is snatching children off our streets and putting them behind barbed wire. What parent in America thinks this is OK? This is not the country we want our kids to grow up in. America is better than this.” 🗣️💔

Her proposed law would void all 287(g) agreements in New York. These are contracts that allow local sheriffs (like in Nassau and Rensselaer counties) to notify ICE when they have an illegal immigrant in their jail who is wanted for deportation. 🚫👮‍♂️

Hochul calls ICE a “rogue agency” causing “chaos and carnage.”
Critics, however, argue she is turning New York into a “Super Sanctuary” state.

Is she protecting children, or shielding criminals? 👇🇺🇸
