Lady Gaga joins Bad Bunny on stage for the Super Bowl LX halftime show 🤩
Lady Gaga has taken the stage as a special guest at Super Bowl 2026.
About midway through Bad Bunny’s Big Game halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 8, the 16-time Grammy winner surprised the audience and viewers tuned in nationwide by joining the Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) for a show-stopping performance.
Dressed in a baby blue gown and red accessories, Gaga did a version of “Die With a Smile,” her 2024 duet with Bruno Mars.
The track was modified from its original style thanks to her live band, and Gaga performed the tune solo without Mars.
Gaga headlined her own Super Bowl halftime show in 2017, and returned for a surprise pre-game performance at Super Bowl 2025.
For Sunday’s show, Bad Bunny also made his way to the stage with Gaga during the set to dance as she sang.
Ricky Martin also performed, and there were multiple star-studded cameos, including Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal and Benito’s “I Like It” collaborator Cardi B — all of whom danced on the field as the “EoO” hitmaker gave a buzzworthy show.
Hours ahead of the halftime performance, Jennifer Lopez, who co-headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Shakira in 2020 where she brought out the Puerto Rican star as a surprise guest, shared her support for Bad Bunny via social media.
“@badbunnyPR…sending you all the love, positivity and the biggest hug in the world! We are all behind you tonight. I know that you are going to kill it! I am here with you the way you were there with me!,” the Selena actress, 56, wrote, mentioning their shared Puerto Rican ancestry and adding in Spanish, “Hit it hard, Benito! Like only you can!”
Just one week before the show, while accepting the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, the musician received a standing ovation after sending a powerful message to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during his acceptance speech.
Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say ICE out. We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens—we are humans, and we are Americans,” he said during the televised event.
Also, I wanna say to the people: I know it’s tough not to hate these days, and I was thinking sometimes we get contaminado. I don’t know how to say that in English,” Bad Bunny added; “contaminado” translates to “contaminated” in English.
President Donald Trump previously said he was “anti” Bad Bunny and Green Day, deeming both Super Bowl performers “terrible” selections for this year’s event.
