Travis Kelce has come under fire after the Kansas City Chiefs’ disappointing 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The veteran TE tallied 70 receiving yards on seven receptions and no touchdowns. This loss eliminated the Chiefs from playoff contention (6-8).
Once again, after the game, Travis Kelce refused to be a part of the post-game press conference. He did the same during last week’s loss to the Houston Texans, where he dropped a critical catch in the fourth quarter that contributed to the loss.
Fans on social media heavily criticized the veteran TE for refusing the post-game interviews.
Travis Kelce’s two-year contract extension ends after the 2025 season. Following his underwhelming performance this year and the Chiefs’ failure to be a playoff contender, there is an air of uncertainty about whether the team will provide him with a new extension next year.
